ELKHART, Ind. — Developing a creative marketing approach to gain the attention and interest of prospective new business customers will be the fourth in a series of business topics presented as a free luncheon program by Spearhead Sales & Marketing of Elkhart. Designed for sales and marketing executives in Elkhart and St. Joseph counties and across Northern Indiana, the program is set for Tuesday, March 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spearhead offices, 223 S. Main St., downtown Elkhart.
Speakers will be Steve Taig, president of TaigMarks Advertising and Public Relations of Elkhart, and David Marks, TaigMarks vice president and creative director. TaigMarks partners with Spearhead to provide a turnkey service that effectively coordinates sales and marketing functions to achieve sales goals. TaigMarks is a full-service marketing firm, including brand development, strategic planning and implementation of both marketing and public relations programs.
The luncheon program will address questions such as the effective use of direct communications, including the development of the right message for the right target audience in a way that breaks through the ever mounting clutter of business to business materials. “It involves really thinking creatively, even if it takes you out of your comfort zone, about how to grab the attention of someone you don’t know in a positive way with the message you want them to hear,” said Taig. “Many firms don’t take full advantage of their options in this regard, essentially wasting their money and getting lost in the clutter.”
